Funeral Services Held Monday For Mrs. C.E. Jones
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles E. Jones were held Monday afternoon at the First Methodist church with Rev. Brodace Elkins, Bartlesville, officiating. Rev. Bascom Doak, pastor, assisted. Burial was in the Alfalfa cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Thursday at the Elms Nursing Home, Kansas City, Mo., where she had been a patient for several months.
Anna Lou Anderson was born September 16, 1884, and was married to Charles E. Jones June 30, 1907. She resided in this community for 55 years. She was active in the Methodist church and club affairs here and was past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by on son, Orval, in 1928.
She is survived by her husband of the home at 316 South Carnegie Ave.; one sons, Alton R. Jones, Kansas City, Mo.; one grandson, Robert W. Jones, and a granddaughter, Judith Ann Wood, both of Kansas City, Mo., and three great-grandsons.
Also surviving her are two brothers, Belton Anderson of Yukon and Walter Anderson of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Miller of California, Mrs. Maude Oden, Littlerock, Ark., Mrs. Genea Terrell and Mrs. Lucille Borden, both of Oklahoma City.
