J.J. Ihrig, of Rolling, came to his death in a fearful manner one day last week, while returning from Elmhurst with a load of baled hay, his horses took fright and ran away, throwing him under the wheels of the heavily loaded wagon. He was discovered some time afterwards by a neighbor, lying upon his face badly bruised but conscious. He was carried home where it was ascertained that he was injured internally from the effects of which he died next morning. He leaves a wife and seven children.
