She was born on March 26, 1949, in Ashland to Richard J and Doris E (Fischer) Moran.
Sharon graduated from the former Iron River High School in which she was in the last graduating class. She went on to complete two years at the Superior Vocational College in the business department.
She was a longtime member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Aid Society. Sharon was employed at the Security State Bank in Iron River for 40 years as bookkeeping manager. Family and friends were always held close to Sharon's heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Gerald "Jerry" Moran and an infant brother, Ronald Moran.
She is survived by one sister, Patricia (Kevin) Kegel, Ashland; two brothers, Richard "Dick" Moran, Superior, and Michael (Barbara) Moran, Foxboro; 11 nieces and nephews, Daniel Moran, Marcia (Robert) Anderson, Jane (David) Ellis, Jody (Greg) Austreng, Jeanne (Ralph) Rounsville, Kathy (Wilbert) Radtke, Colleen "Kelly" (Michael) Lurndal, Timothy (Connie) Moran, Mark (Mary) Moran, Steven Kegel, and Christine Kegel; 14 great-nieces and nephews, Peter, Rebecca and Joseph Anderson, Amanda, Amy and Brandon Rounsville, James Gotham, Anna and Tina Lurndal, Sarah and Thomas Ellis, Ann William and Ashley Radtke; one sister-in-law, Rose Reijo, Superior; and special friends, Wendy, Jaime and Danny Gruebele and Dianne Watson.
Pallbearers for the service will be Mark Moran, Michael Lurndal, Ralph Rounsville, Wilbert Radtke, Robert Anderson and David Ellis.
