Eva B. Rousse
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Eva Bruce Rousse, 65, a native of Westwego and resident of Galliano, who died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday, April 10.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano.
She was the mother of Christine and Perry Rousse Sr., Patricia Bourg, Cheryl Portier, Molly Cheramie, and Melissa Danos. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband. Eldon Rousse; parents, Julien and Ophelia Bourg Bruce Sr., and six brothers, Sydney, Sylvest, Ellis, Wallace, Lester and Julien Bruce Jr.
