Final rites were held Saturday, May 17th, in Tipton, for an esteemed resident of Tipton for a long number of years--Mrs. Siddie M. Williams.

Siddie May Murray Williams was the daughter of Mr. Alex and Lucinda Pierce Murray. She was born in Red Oak township, near Tipton, July 18th, 1872. She died of a heart ailment at 2:00 A.M., on May 15, 1952, at her home in Tipton, Iowa.

She was married to George H. Williams on March 8, 1889, in Tipton. To this union were born one daughter, Elizabeth, and one son, Murray. She lived in and near Tipton all her life. She belonged to the New Olivet Presbyterian church until it dissolved. Her greatest interest and pleasure was in her family and her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Williams, and a son Murray.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Williams Werling of Tipton; a sister Miss Jennie Murray of Tipton, and one brother William B. Murray of Tipton.

The funeral was conducted by the Sheets funeral home and Rev. Harold Kratzat officiated in the service. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery on May 17, 1952.
