COOKEVILLE -- Services for Joe M. Allison, 87, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Allison died Saturday, June 2, 1990 in Cookeville General Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 P.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A native of Bloomington Springs, Mr. Allison was the son of the late Dr. John Issac and Julia Caruthers Allison. He was an officer in First National Bank here and a general bookkeeper for Whitson Hardware here for a number of years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
His family includes his wife, Mattie Ferrell Allison; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Jean) Harrison of Dayton, Tenn.; a son, Joe Ferrell Allison of Washington D.C.; a sister, Beulah Delaney of Sparta; and two grandchildren, Mrs. Bruce Dillard of Chattsworth, Ga., and Mrs. Pat Jones of Knoxville.
