John Charles Asper, 78 years old, died Friday night at 12 o'clock in St. Joseph's Hospital, of complication of diseases. He was born in York, but resided in Millersville for many years. He was a carpenter by trade. Recently resided with his son, Calvin, 619 Union street. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias of this city. He is survived by the following children: Harvey, Calvin, George, Nora, wife of Harvey Steffy, all of Lancaster. Fourteen grandchildren also survive.
