KAYSVILLE--Lolas V. Neal, age 93, passed away Saturday, December 12, 1998 at the Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton.
She was born November 10, 1905 in Coaldale Mountain, West Virginia, the daughter of Andrew J. and Isabelle Perdue Tabor. She married Robert S. Neal, January 25, 1922 in Maybeury, West Virginia. He passed away May 4, 1972.
Lolas was reared and educated in Maybeury, West Virginia, and resided in Utah the past 23 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Her family was the center of her life, and she loved children. She enjoyed embroidery, home cooking, and especially her dog, Tinker. She was affectionately known to everyone as Granny Neal.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law and best friend, Sue Neal, Fruit Heights; two granddaughters, Susan (Bill) Moon, Clearfield; Robin (Brad) Hart, Farr West; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle Moon, Cody and Cassidy Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a daughter, Charles and Juanita.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, where friends may call Wednesday 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc of Utah, for her great-grandson, Kyle.
