PFC 902 FIELD ARTY BN 77 DIV WORLD WAR II

Mr. and Mrs. Ira Slagle, of Double Springs, have been informed by the War Department that their son, Ira Slagle, Jr., was killed in action in the South Pacific on May 17.
Young Slagle was a member of the 77th Division and had been in the Pacific Theatre of War for the past three years.
