Mrs. Davis

HUNTSVILLE -- Ms Vannie B. Davis, 80, of Hungsville died Saturday morning at Huntsville Nursing Home in Huntsville.

Services are scheduled for today at 3 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Bill Cox officiating. burial will follow in Shawmut Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marion Watkins of Huntsville and Mrs. Julia Davis of Birmingham; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lollar of Vernon and Mrs. Lillian Wilson of Selma; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Dahlonga, Ga. She was a retired nurse, a vetran of World War II and of the Biaptist faith.

Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Langdale is handling the arrangements.
