Alvin Glynn Adams, 76, of Granite Shoals died February 10, 2009.
Born August 24, 1932 in Quanah, Texas, Alvin was the son of Homer & Irma (Johnson) Adams. He retired from the US Air Force after 26 years 4 months of dedicated service.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Lou "Mopie" Adams of Granite Shoals and two sisters, Aileen Gillespie of Kingsland and Leta Thomas of Bishop. Alvin is also survived by other relatives and many close friends.
Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2009 from 6–8PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 3 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Holton George officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City. Arrangements are under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home of Marble Falls.
