ALBERT KNUTSON RITES HELD SATURDAY
Albert Knutson, 84, who passed away at Seymour on March 14, was laid to rest in the Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery in Navarino on Saturday, March 16. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church with the Rev. Axel T. Blom officiating. Pallbearers were Eldor, Paul, Clarence and Elmer Knutson, Emil Schlack and Winfred Knutson. Musical selections were rendered by the church choir.
Mr. Knutson was born in Winchester, Wis., November 15, 1855 and was married to Polla Peterson in Navarino, October 15, 1882. They lived on a farm in Navarino until five years ago when the family moved to Seymour.
He is survived by five children; Eldor, West DePere; Paul and Clarence, Navarino, Mabel, Mrs. Emil Schlack, Seymour, Elmer, Green Bay. One daughter passed away 15 years ago. There are 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren living. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Helen Westgor, Navarino and one brother Charley, Gillett.
Relatives attending the funeral from away were Miss Nilah Hout, Marinette; Mr. and Mrs. Charley Knutson, Gillett; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Larson, Mr. and Mrs. John Martin and son LaVerne, Mrs. Esther Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hanson and Mr. Knutte, Appleton and Mr. and Mrs Helmer Peterson of Shawano.
