She was born in Clinch County and moved to Waycross in 1946 and lived there until 1992 when she moved to the nursing home. She was a homemaker and the widow of Alonzo Joyce. She attended Arabia Primitive Baptist Church in Clinch County.
SURVIVORS: three daughters, Oliva Cason and Vera Mae Jeffords, both of Homerville, and Marie Turk of Blackshear; 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren and several other relatives.
