DEATH OF A PRIVATE - Jacob Royer, a private of Company A, 77th Regiment, P.V., died at Camp Wood, Ky., on Saturday last. Young Royer enlisted with Lieut. Walker last fall, was about 20 years of age, and son of Mr. Samuel Royer, who resides on the Mountain, not far from Sabillasville. His remaines reached his place late on Wednesday evening and were taken on to the residence of his parents. - We have not learned the nature of the disease of which he died. The deceased is said to have been a fine young man and a brave soldier. We sympathise with the bereaved parents.
