Son of Joseph Mowry and Anne Whipple. Nephew of Continental Congressman Daniel Mowry Jr. Married Phebe Smith on May 6, 1770. He then married Huldah Harris on January 5, 1774. Lastly, he wed Isabel Chase on November 5, 1800. He had at least 6 children. Died 18 days short of his birthday.
