Preceded in death by her first husband, Roy A. Talbert; by her second husband, Clinton Samuel.
Bessie was a retired LPN; a member of Barnet Chapter 451 Order of Eastern Star in Fordyce and a member of Third Baptist Church in Malvern. Preceded in death by her second husband, Clinton Samuel; her first husband Roy A. Talbert; three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one grandaughter, Heather Talbert McMinn and husband David; three great-grandsons, Damon, Shawn and Blake of Sherwood; one brother, John Chandler and wife Mary, of Moses Lake, WA; two sisters Ila Kriewald of Wenatchee, WA; Inez Samuel of Hot Springs, AR; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Tulip Cemetery August 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern, AR.
