Mrs. Ed (Anna) Baartman, 62, of Boyden died Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Sheldon Hospital.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the First Reformed Church of Boyden. The Rev. Henry Schoon will officiate. Burial will be in the Boyden Cemetery.
Mrs. Baartman was born Feb. 22, 1918, at Rock Valley. Her father was Peter Vande Vegte. Her mother is the former Martha Van Veldhuizen.
Mrs. Baartman was married to Edward Baartman June 16, 1938, in Middleburg, Iowa.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Boyden and an associate member of the Ladies Aid and Missionary Circle. She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary. She is also a former reporter for the Sioux County Index-Reporter and the Sheldon Mail.
Mrs. Baartman was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
