Mrs. Hilda Lloyd

Hilda C. Lloyd, wife of Roscoe Lloyd, and daughter of Ed and Edna Crooks, ws born near Rockport Sept. 30, 1898. She was educated in the Spencer county schools and for a number of years was one of Ohio township's most successful teachers.

She was converted at an early age and joined the Methodist church, of which she remained a faithful member until she was called from her labors to her reward.

Being a lover of music, she was a member of the Rockport Music Club, also a member of the Richland chapter O.E.S. She was married July 29, 1925, to Roscoe Lloyd of Hatfield, to whom she was a faithful and loyal companion until the end, which came March 3, 1938, at the age of 39 years, 5 months and 3 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, one sister, Irene Anderson of Cincinnati, two brothers, Stewart Crooks of Rockport and William Crooks of Hatfield, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Shiloh by Rev. Latham, with burial in the church cemetery.
