Jane married William Caldwell Templeton in Belmont, Ohio on March 25, 1824. They had 10 children:

They farmed in Ohio and at some point moved to Fairfield, Iowa. They were a loving, close family. They will always be in the memory of their descendants. Jane was only 48 when she passed away. Although we do not know what caused her death, being a farm wife and mother of 10 may have added to the cause of her early demise.
