Brownstown Banner, Seymour, Ind; pub. Wed., 16 Sep 1903: The sad news reached here last Monday of the sudden death of Salomon A. Thompsen (sic), for many years a resident of this place, but now of Bedford. The immediate cause of his death was dropsy of the heart. He leaves one brother and one sister at this place and one sister at Columbus, besides a host of relatives and friends here and Houston, and three sons and three daughters, who are scattered here and there, to mourn his departure.
