Mrs. Potter was born in Clarion county, the daughter of William and Rebecca Rankin Stone, and was the widow of Harry H. Potter, who died September 19, 1938. She was a member of First Methodist church of Sheffield and of its WSCS.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Clyde D. Potter, Milesburg, Pa.; Mrs. Florence Blauser, Roseville, Mich.; Forrest D. Potter, Lebanon; Mrs. Margaret Miller, Tampa, Fla.; and Harry L. Potter, Pittsburgh; also six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four brothers, David Stone, Clearfield; Frank Stone, Bakersfield, Calif.; Earl Stone, Gorman, Texas; and Howard Stone, Stratonville.
