A funeral service for Mrs. Geneevieve Andrews Carey, 50, of Quantico Rd., who diec Saturday in the Dover Air Force Base Hospital, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Holloway Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carey was the wife of Eugene M. Carey, former sheriff of Wicomico County.
Interment will be in St. John's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fruitland.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7:30 until 9 p.m.
Mr. Carey said an autopsy was done and the cause of death was cardiac arrest. Mrs. Carey underwent major surgery in the Dover hospital last Wednesday.
She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Andrews and the late Lula Daisey of Chincoteague, Va.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Patrick and Steven of Salisbury; and her step-father, Fletcher Daisey of Chincoteague.
