Mr. Jackson was employed for many years in the Shelbyville first National Bank and later served as Shelby County Circuit Clerk and Recorder. Moving to Springfield in 1921, Mr. Jackson was employed at Sangamo Electric Co. from 1923 until retirement in 1945.
His wife and a son, J. Paul, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J. Floyd Trout of Springfield; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
