David Lee Edwards 74 of Springdale died August 7, 2010 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born July 21, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to David Roy and Sarah Lee Edwards. He was a retired Security Guard with the First Baptist Church in Springdale and was also a member of the church.
He is survived by his wife Barbara M. Parton Edwards whom he married September 2, 1960. One son: James Edwards and wife Melody of Gravette, two daughters, Peggy Humphrey and husband Jon of Springdale and Joellen Stout of Bluffton, Ind., one brother Steve Edwards of Kansas City, MO and one sister , Shirley Scott of St. Joseph, MO. Seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Jon Humphrey, James Stout, Joseph Stout, David Stout, Tommy Collier and David Edwards.
