Rites held in Red Lake Falls for Nap Vaudrin

Final rites were held Saturday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls for Napoleon Vaudrin, 77, who passed away Thursday at St. John's Hospital.

Mr. Vaudrin had been in failing health for two years.

He farmed in the Gentilly area for many years before retiring to live in Red Lake Falls about nine years ago. He came to the area from Canada being born in Montreal in 1876.

Surviving is his wife Lea, whom he married in Gentilly in 1906, and seven sons and three daughter. They are Orphier, Amedie, Raymond, Donald, and Emil all of Red Lake Falls, Thomas of Crookston, Maurice of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; Mrs. Edgar Amiot, Mrs. Paul Perreault and Mrs. Wilfred Audette of Red Lake Falls.

Father William Keefe officiated at the services Saturday. Interment was at the St. Joseph's cemetery.
