Larry Lovitt of Galesburg died at Methodist Medical Center in Peoris. Son of LeRoy and Grace Boon Lovitt he married Sandra "Sandy" Motz on Dec.7,1963 in Galesburg. A member of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union Local 2063 he was a machinist at Maytag Corp for 31 1/2 years, retiring in 1999. After retiring he did maintenance work for Southards Car Wash. He was amember of Street Rodder Car Club. He is survived by his wife, two sons three grandchildren, one brother and three sisters.
