Murray, Utah--Bertha Wilhemina Nelson Evans, 90, 6001 S 6th West. Murray, Utah died August 2, 1972 in a Murray rest home of natural causes.

Born Oct. 25, 1861 in Union, Utah to Nels and Anna Christina Nelson. Married David R. Evans June 22, 1904 Salt Lake City, Utah. Later solemnized in Slat Lake LDS Temple. He died Feb. 22, 1920. Worked as cook in Utah schools; visiting teacher LDS Relief Society for 27 years.

Survivors: son, daughters, David Lawrence of Downey, Calif; Mrs. Kenneth (Anne) Sanders of Mruray; Mrs. J. T. (Ruby) Young of Midvale, Utah, 10 grand children; 21 great grandchildren, brother, Herman E. Nelson of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, , 11 a.m. in the Murray 13th LDS Ward Chapel , 6300 South 600 W. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. 4760 S State St and Saturday at the chapel one hour before services. Burial in Murray City Cemetery.
