Harry and his brother Reeves both died in WWII. Reeves is buried in Manila American National Cemetery in the Philippines. France.Their parents made a beautiful cenotaph for them back home in Huntsville Texas , Memorial 57016282 with both their pictures. It says


" Yea, in the shadow of Thy Wings I make my refuge" Psalm 57:1.


Their home town was so moved by the loss of the bothers that in 2009 they renamed the local airport after them: The Bruce Brothers Huntsville Regional Airport
