This monument in North East Cemetery PA says "God Is Love." It is the marker for Jacob B. Baker, Section D, of whom I can't find out much more, but his epitaph speaks for itself about what kind of man he must have been. It is one of my favorites.

I am happy to do this work to help the living, the dead and those to come. Sometimes, though, the pain of the losses people have felt just staggers me. And somehow posting to the Pet cemetery is the hardest, probably since pets show their love so openly.

I am very, very grateful to other volunteers who have put up info that has helped me in my ancestry searchs.

If possible, I would grateful if you could leave a flower at my cousin Lt. Edwin Neely who was killed at Normandy as part of the D - Day invasion so that he is remembered.

It would mean a lot to me. It took me awhile to find him: to get his name, then his grave and then by some true, real miracle his war story, and then his picture. I cry every time I see it

(I found out some of the pictures I post turn out upside down on some people's computers but not others. I don't understand it at all so I don't know how to fix it but I think it might be something with the IPhone I don't understand.
