Blackwell Journal Tribune, Wednesday November 24, 1965, page 2----Services for Mrs. Jeanette M. Horton, 86, 423 South A, who died at Blackwell General Hospital Monday night, will be at First Baptist church, at 2 pm Wednesday, with Rev. Dan Rainbolt, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery. Mrs. Horton was born in Linn County, Kansas, Aug 22, 1879 and came to Oklahoma in the spring of 1894, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Robinson, settling on a farm two miles east and two north of Blackwell. She was married to Carl E. Hendrichs in 1906, and Mr. Hendrichs preceded her in death. In 1919, she married Clarence C. Horton. He also preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Harold C. Hendricks of Blackwell; and two grandsons, John Thomas Hendricks and Calvin D. Hendricks. She was the aunt of Everett Brazelton, John Courtney, Bill Nash and Mrs. Harold Fry.
