W.S. [sic] Frees, 63, died at his home in Lyons Point at 9 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 26, with burial in the old Protestant cemetery, with details of final arrangements to be announced later. Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Frees was a native of Colorado. He was born July 28, 1882 at Silver Cliff.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith Merritt Frees; three sons, Varnum Lee of Texarkana, Texas, Everall L. of Franklin,; and Ellis E. of Morse; two daughters, Miss Vera Frees of Lyons Point; and Mrs. Earl Voyles of Baytown, Texas; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Mabel Welsh, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma."
