Mr. Herbert F. Roberts, of 'ViewBank,' Burrandana. has received the sad news from the Minister for the Army that his son, Private Gilbert Alphonsus Roberts, previously reported missing, is now reported to have been killed in action on January 19. 1942— shortly after the entry of Japan into the war. The sympathy of all district residents will be extended to the relatives of this young man.
