Shot down on the 8th mission of B-24 "Ole Rock", serial number 41-11618 while attacking a convoy.

Harold was a member of the B-24 Liberator crew "Black Maria II". He was shot down with the liberator after bombing Naples, Italy on January 11, 1943.
