Harry served as a Second Lieutenant & Navigator on B-17G "Sweet Anna" (#42-31526), 427th Bomber Squadron, 303rd Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.

He resided in Middlesex County, New Jersey prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on July 22, 1940, prior to the war, in Trenton, New Jersey. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being Single, without dependents.

Harry was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-17 was shot down by Navy flak west of Helgoland Island, Germany and crashed into the North Sea during the war. He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
