He was the son of Samuel Caple, Jr. and Nancy "Ann" MANNING.

He was married to Magalena CRONE in 1843 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH.

Their children together were:

William (1842), Henry J., Dr. Alfred Zepp, Otto (1852-1931), William (1855-1891), Almira (1857), Mary Florence (1858), Edward B. (1861), Elizabeth (1864), and Edgar CAPLE.
Andrew was my Great-Granduncle.
