"THE LATE PRIVATE R. W. TANDY

Private and Mrs. Tandy, of "Rothville," Plympton, have been notified that their only son. Private R. W. Tandy, died from pneumonia at the 35th Casualty Clearing Station, France. He was 28 years of age and left with the second reinforcements of the 10th Battalion on February 2, 1915. He served at the Dardanelles and was then transferred to the 30th Battalion. Private Tandy was a member of the Sturt Football Club."

Son of John Robert and Elizabeth Tandy, of New St., Rothville, Plympton, Adelaide, South Australia. Native of Gloucester, England.
