Son of Samuel and Gertie Gaskin. of Montreal, Quebec; husband of Nora Madeleine Gaskin, of Montreal, Quebec.


His brother, Signalman Jack Hyman Gaskin, was also lost during WW II. Another brother Private William Gaskin who served with the R.C.A. in Italy made it home safely.
