The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced that U.S. Navy Seaman 1st Class Warren C. Gillette, 21, killed during World War II, was accounted for on Jan. 17, 2019.
On Dec. 7, 1941, Gillette was assigned to the battleship USS Oklahoma (BB-37), which was moored at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, when the ship was attacked by Japanese aircraft.
