His father was then a Druggist.
The family later lived at 22, Mountain View Road, Rathmines, Dublin.
In the 1911 census, he was noted as being 17 years old, and worked as an accountant to his father who was a Commercial Traveller in the Tea and Sugar business.
The family were then living at Dunville Avenue, Rathmines.
His name has been included on the following War Memorials,
St. Ann's Church, Dawson Street, Dublin.
Holy Trinity Church, Belgrave Road, Rathmines, Dublin.
His name has been included in the Mount Jerome Cemetery War Memorial
