Henry Kechter, 79, of 311 West Street died at his home Monday.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Warren Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. James Schatz officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 10, 1895, in a German settlement in Russia, and married Katherine Bender in Fort Collins on Jan. 28, 1915. She survives in Anaheim, Calif.

A retired farmer, he moved to Fort Collins from Eaton in 1903.

He also is survived by three sons, Walter of Marysville, Calif.; Roy of Bellflower, Calif., and Robert of El Segundo, Calif.; three daughters, Helen Kechter of Bellflower, Mrs. Dorothy Littlepage of Temuleca, Calif., and Mrs. Jane Lesser of Anaheim; two brothers, Jack and George, both of Fort Collins; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Honstein and Mrs. Lena Waag, both of Fort Collins, and Mrs. Lydia Nordstrom of St. Carlos, Calif., and eight grandchildren.
