Andrew Hagen 1858-1939

Andrew Hagen of Bagley, 80 years of age, passed away last Saturday at Clearbrook in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Henry Olberg. He had been seriously ill for some time.
The funeral service will be held Friday, June 2, at one o'clock at the First Lutheran Church in Bagley. The Rev. A. P. Anderson will read the last rites. The Peterson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be made in the Bagley Cemetery.
Born in Norway October 25, 1858, he came to the United States in 1882, and settled at Pelican Rapids May 14 of that year. He was united in marriage May 4, 1885, at Pelican Rapids, and his wife passed away 40 years ago. Mr. Hagen was a railroad man, but came to Clearwater County to live about 15 years ago, residing both at Clearbrook and at Bagley.
Left to mourn are four children, Carl of Middle River, Clarence of Bowbells, North Dakota, Mrs. Henry Olberg of Clearbrook and Mrs. James King of Bagley; a brother Matt Hagen of Lomita, California, Eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
