Mrs. F. F. Overbey Dies in Hospital

Mrs. Florence Flagg Overbey, aged 70, of 6711 North Seneca, died Thursday in Wichita hospital.

Born Feb. 15, '79, in Alton, Ill., she came to Kansas in 1903, settling at South Haven. She came to Wichita in 1910 where she has since made her home. She was a member of the Valley Center Baptist church.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Alvie Overbey, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Mae Killingsworth, 334 South Estelle; one son, Paul R. Overbey, Douglas, Kan.; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Hoppin, Pawnee, Ill., Mrs. Sue Overbey of Palmyra, Ill.; Mrs. Esther Lawrence of Normal, Ill.; Mrs. Harry Snyder of Bartlett, Ill., and Mrs. Lewis Di Pietro of Campbell, O.; three brothers, Charles Sloman of Taylorville, Ill., Rev. Richard Sloman of Pittsburgh, Pa., and George Sloman of Pawnee, Ill., and four grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Downing mortuary.

OVERBEY--Funeral services for Florence Flagg Overbey, age 70, of 6711 N. Seneca who passed away in a local hospital on Oct. 6th will be held in the Downing mortuary, 2 p. m. Monday. Rev. Robbins of Valley Baptist church will officiate. Interment in Wichita Park cemetery.
