Mr. Hofelmann was born at Luverne Feb. 11, 1874, the son of Henry and Mathilda Hofelmann, early residents. He grew to manhood in this county and worked on the farm. They are Mrs. Lillian Batlo, Minneapolis; Mrs. Alice Bauer, Bertha, Minn.; Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Ihlen and Arthur Hofelmann, Pipestone. He is also survived by a brother, William Hofelmann, Hardwick. His wife preceded him in death Oct. 18, 1939 (sic).
