JUNCTION - John T. Fargason, 79, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, in a local hospital. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Arrangements are by Graham Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Roxanne Fargason; son John T. Fargason of Medford, OR; and daughters Wendy Gibson of Sacramento, CA, and Randolph Cunningham of Fairhope, AL

Gravesite Details

In 1969 John was sentenced to 9 years in prison for manslaughter. In Sept. 1968, he shot his 16 year old step-son Matthew Carter Stovall, who died a month later.
