For Mrs. Clement
Held on Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank M. Clement, 78, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the chapel of the Green-Kleinegger funeral home with the Rev. G.W. Pomeroy, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating.

Mrs. Clement died in the Minden hospital early Friday morning following an extended illness.

A lifelong resident of Webster parish, Mrs. Clement was the former Miss Vashti Hodges, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Hodges of Cotton Valley. She was a member of the First Methodist church in Minden. Burial was in the Minden cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ben Barnes, Claiborne Braswell, Byron Braswell, Marion Hortman, B.E. Murphy and Marshall Carson.

Survivors include one son, Lamar Clement, Minden; five sisters, Mrs. John F. Davis and Mrs. Penn Ventress, both of Cotton Valley; Mrs. Monnie Banks and Mrs. Nettie Sandlin, both of California; Mrs. W. Matt Lowe, Minden; two brothers, Marvin P. Hodges, Minden; Thomas E. Hodges, Shreveport; one step-daughter, Mrs. Mavour Braswell, Minden; one step-son, Eldridge Clement, De Ridder; two granddaughters.
