Married Jane Foster (or Jane Dudley!) on 5 June 1756 in Massachusetts and had 11 children. Appears to have moved to Winslow area around 1767.

Died at Winflow, on the 14th ult, Capt. Zimir Haywood, age
66. He dropped down dead as he was going to his house.

July 26, 1804
Notice is hereby given, that the right of equity of redemption of part of that farm on which Capt. Zimri Heywood, late deceased, in Winflow, lived at the time of his decease, being all the right now owned by Samuel Heywood, containing about 100 acres is taken on execution, and will be sold at public auction, at the dwelling house of Richard Thomas, innholder, in said Winflow, on the tenth day of August AD 1804, at three of the clock in the afternoon.
