ARANGO, Melissa "Missy," 36, of New Cumberland, W.Va., passed away after a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 26, 2008.
She was born September 22, 1972, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of Cindy Lovy Arango of New Cumberland and the late David Starvagaggi.
She was a nurse's aide at Baptist Homes.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Shelby Greynolds and Alyssa Arango of New Cumberland; two stepchildren, Matthew Ritchie of New Cumberland, and David Ritchie Jr. of Milton, W.Va.; a stepgrandchild, Isaac Ritchie of Milton; two sisters, Danielle Mayhew and her husband, Nathan, of New Cumberland, and Tammy Orlson and her husband, Archie, of Burgettstown, Pa.; and Brandi Arango Orr and her husband, Robert, of Chester, W.Va.; and fiance, David Ritchie of New Cumberland.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., on Sunday, at the New Cumberland Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, December 1, 2008, with Pastor Craig Greathouse officiating.
Interment will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery.
