MISS KATE BAKER CALLED BY DEATH -
Funeral on Thursday Afternoon For the Beloved Woman-

Miss Kate R. Baker passed away on Tuesday evening at the Benevolent Hospital at 7:40 o'clock, following an illness.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of W.F. Boswell, 702 Line Street, Rev. Peter M. Dennis being assisted by Rev.W.F. Price in conducting the service. Interment will be made at the City Cemetery, Brown directing.

Pallbearers will be Rayburn Neville, W.F. Rauschenburg, Fred Tidwell, Charles Grayson, Dawson Lile and Ben Fennell.

The deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ellen P. Moseley and Miss Sarah J. Baker and many nieces and nephews.

Miss Baker was born in Richmond County, NC on January 22, 1851, and removed with her family to Alabama in 1859. For several years she resided at Trinity with her sister, Mrs. J.P. Elliot and later with another sister, Mrs. John L. Lile. For the past few years she had made her home in Decatur and was beloved by a wide circle of friends both here and at Trinity.
