Alvord, Eva Bentley, age 76 years, of Route 2, Lynden [Whatcom Co.], passed away in a local hospital Wednesday, Jan. 16, [1957] following an extended illness. Mrs. Alvord had been a resident of the Ten Mile district for the past 71 years, and was a member of the Ten Mile Grange.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Frank; three sons, Otto Bentley, Tacoma; Wallace Bentley, Deming, and Woodrow Bentley, of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Alvord, of this city; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Joe Kenoyer, of Everett.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Jan. 18 at 11 a. m. within the Cathedral Chapel of the Westford Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford M. Pickau, pastor of the Champion Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment Woodlawn.
