He was living in 1850 in Grainger County with his son & daughter-in-law George Barton & Amy (BROCK) SEYMOUR. Larkin's grave is one of the many early on marked graves at Locust Grove Cemetery. Larkin was a veteran of Revolutionary War and was present at the Battle of Yorktown (1781) which secured American independence from the British Crown.
